A settlement has been reached with Lands’ End, Inc. (“Lands’ End” or “Defendant”) in a class action lawsuit. This case is about the data security incident that impacted a portion of Lands’ End's computer systems and that occurred in December 2024 (the “Data Incident”). Certain files that contained some of your information may have been accessed, including personal information such as names; dates of birth; Social Security numbers; driver’s license and/or passport information; and in limited circumstances, medical information.
The lawsuit is called Jones, et al. v. Lands’ End, Inc., Case No. 30301. It is pending in the Circuit Court for Iowa County, Wisconsin (the “Litigation”). Lands’ End denies that it did anything wrong, and the Court has not decided who is right. The parties have agreed to settle the lawsuit (the “Settlement”) to avoid the costs and risks, disruptions, and uncertainties of continuing the Litigation.
Settlement Class Members are defined as individuals identified in Lands' End's records and are entitled to benefits under the Settlement. Settlement Class Members may have also received previous notice directly from Lands' End.
Your rights are affected whether you act or don’t act.
